My new 4K Sony Video Camera and 4K Monitor
V. Excited, Just got my hands on a new 4K Handy Cam!! I’ll soon be able to Vlog? Vblog? Which one is it? I can’t remember. Anyway, will soon be able to start doing my own e cigarette reviews in 4K RESOLUTION! Yay!!!
Finding the right camera and monitor was a nightmare, I am completely clueless on this! How many different monitors are there out there? Hundreds… Thousands? And which of those would work best for what I wanted? I don’t know, I am clueless about this stuff… My boyfriend has no idea either. A screen is a screen to him, as long as his XBOX One works on it he’s happy.
Anyway, my research hat went on and I began delving in to the big wide web and started digging. I came across this blog over at Panel Review on which provided a good source of information on what to get. The listed 4 of the best 27 inch monitors of which I chose the 4k one (obviously) as I wanted a nice 4k video camera. Before you ask and say how do you know about 4k TVs or monitors? I saw them on TV ok. Like my eciggies, I like the best so will only settle with the best.
I must admit, I was in hysterics when the monitor arrived and my boyfriend found out it was not compatible with the XBOX One. Uses a display plug or something which the XBOX doesn’t work with. More for me I say! Plugged it into my MacBook Pro and was instantly flabbergasted at the details the screen could show.
Coincidently on that same site, they were also reviewing what they say was the only 4k consumer video camera out at the moment. It was called the Sony AX100 4k Handycam or something. Killed 2 birds with one stone visiting that site. Bought the video camera and will hopefully be good to go soon. The site does suggest purchasing certain accessories, but those reviews aren’t out yet, so I guess I’ll make do with what I have before they add them on there.
I have a lot of work cut out for me now as this 4k video camera is very complicated and not too easy to work out how to use. That review helped a lot, but my mind does go a bit blur when it comes to new technology. I am a strange girl. Wanting all this new technology, yet having no real understanding on how to use it. Good thing I have a lot of time and money to spare!
Anyway, just a short blog today, wanted to share my latest achievements and challenges I now face. Not life threatening I know, but still….
Until next time xxx
